The GCM-MM sledge-hammers mills are very solid machines, capable of grinding all types of wood chips, plastics, aluminum such as much other kind of materials. Inside the well-sized crushing chamber houses a shredding rotor, driven by a powerful electrical motor through a belt transmission system, needed to absorb impacts. A durable and easily interchangeable calibrating grid, placed at a specific distance from hammers, allows the material reduction into the required volume. The machine is also equipped with a double array of interchangeable counter-crushers, each having eight cutting edges sequentially used based on their wear. On both sides of the machines, there are two wide inspection doors, designed to facilitate maintenance and tool replacement operations.
